Prayer
Prayer is the heartbeat of our church life. We have seen God answer many prayers, both large and small, and prayer is a part of every gathering we have together. However, we are always asking Jesus to teach us how to pray more effectively, and have lots of opportunities to grow at prayer meetings for the Forest Hill congregation and for the wider Ichthus movement.

We meet monthly for a congregational prayer time on the fourth Wednesday evening of each month at 7.45pm at the Ichthus Prayer House, and there is also weekly midweek prayer-walking. For more details, ask one of the Ichthus Forest Hill leaders on a Sunday or visit our Diary. We also have a prayer time before our normal Sunday meeting at the Bonhoeffer Church at 10.15am to ask for an outpouring of God’s Spirit as we gather to worship.

The Ichthus Movement hosts a Prayer Community that meets on Tuesdays and there are also regular half-nights of prayer where the Ichthus Congregations meet together to prayer over specific issues. For more details on prayer events please see the Ichthus website.
